Ky-Mani Marley is among the most loved and rich Reggae Singer who was born on the 26th February, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He was in Shottas the cult movie opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album like Father Like Son. This was followed by several singles like Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix) and Sensimelia. They all have contributed to the growing reputation of Ky-Mani as a brand new reggae singer. Ky-Mani, along with Praswell along with Praswell and Fugees (as members of Avenue), a popular song by Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue came out in 1997. Marley appeared in Midem (international music showcase) in the year it was held in Miami for the first time.
